Mandy Jennings that pretty baby!!! September 27, 2009
We will never forget the beautiful gift that you gave us, Kendal Nicole, even if we all got to enjoy her for only a short time. You know I say she was always a little china doll, the cutest little baby I have ever seen. Beautiful red hair, cute little pink lips and the longest eyelashes I have ever seen!!!!!! I cant imagine what you and Scott and Tyler are going through, and I am not going to pretend that I understand. What I do know is that Michelle you are one of the most amazing, strong willed women that I have ever met, and I know you will get through this in time. I know that you are afraid that people will forget about her, BUT I PROMISE YOU, WE WILL NEVER FORGET HER. She was a blessing in disguise for many people, and she has touched all of us that knew her in some way, shape or form. Please know that I think of her and you guys always, and I am always here for you when you need me. Tell Tyler that he has to come play in the snow with me! Love ya girl, and I miss you terribly- M
Mommy Letter to Kendal September 17, 2009
Dear Kendal “Sister”,

Mommy loves you so much.  Your smile and giggles could make my bad days turn good.  You were so sweet and innocent.  Everybody thought you were so pretty!  From the time mommy found out she was pregnant with you I was so happy, and when I found out you were a girl I was even more excited.  In mommy’s tummy you  were so active, I thought you were going to be  a soccer player.  After you were born you just stared at me with your pretty blue eyes and red hair.  From the minute mommy, daddy and grandpa took you home from the hospital you were the best baby ever.  You always slept good and never had mommy sleep deprived.  You slept through the night when you were just 3 ½ months old.  Sometimes mommy would hope you would wake up just so I could hold you.  But, I always went and checked on you to make sure you were okay- and always there you were just so peaceful (sometimes snoring).  Mommy would always say you had “hold- me syndrome” because you just loved to be held… but, I would always do my best to hold you as much as possible and will cherish every single one of those moments.  The last seven months with you in our lives have been the best ever.  Your mommy and daddy lives were complete with you and brother.  Now we have a void in our heart- as we try to move on we will know that you are in a better place.  Your life will be remembered forever, someday I hope to get to see you again in heaven.  I hope that you went peacefully and you weren’t in a lot of pain.  They said at the hospital you couldn’t feel anything, mommy would never of wanted for you to suffer.  Just know that you will always be our little angel- Please look after brother in heaven and protect him from the evils of the world.  Just please know that a day will never go by where I don’t think about you and miss you.  Kendal Nicole Varni please rest in peace.

Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences September 16, 2009

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it. 39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.” 40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44 The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;
